Belleville Police Service responded to 82 calls for service from June 26, 2018 at 5 a.m. to June 27, 2018 at 5 a.m.
Disqualified Driver
On June 26 at 10 a.m. police observed a male who is known to be a disqualified driver on Dundas Street East. Police stopped the vehicle, and a 40-year-old male from Belleville was arrested and charged with disqualified driving.
Wanted persons arrested
On June 26, 2018 at 2 p.m., police observed a male on North Front Street and recognized him to be a male wanted by the OPP and Peterborough Police on outstanding warrants. The male was arrested and turned over to the OPP.
Later in the afternoon, police observed a 32-year-old female from Belleville who was wanted on outstanding warrants by the OPP. The female fled, but was quickly arrested and turned over to the OPP.
At 4:20 p.m., Belleville Police Emergency Response Team executed a warrant at an address on Cedar Street. A 25-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants and turned over to the OPP.
