There was no discussion on Tuesday night as Prince Edward County Council approved an increased funding request from the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The request was made of council earlier this year to up their contribution to the capital campaign from $1.25 millionĀ to $4.5 million.
The $4.5 million is part of the community share of capital funding requirements which has an estimated $16.5 million total.
The plan as to how the municipality will be paying for this increase will be determined during the 2019 budget process.
CAO James Hepburn suggested at a previous meeting the County make the funding payments over 15 years to help keep the cost less than one percent of the levy.
