Belleville Police Service responded to 36 calls for service from the June 25, 2018 at 5 a.m. to June 26, 2018 at 5 a.m.
Mischief to Vehicle
Police responded to a report of mischief to a vehicle, located in east end of the city during the evening of June 25, 2018. A dispute between two individuals resulted in the driver’s window being shattered when the door was forcefully closed by the suspect. As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old female was charged with Mischief under $5000 and Breach of Probation. She is scheduled for a court date in July.
Breach of Conditions
Police were called to an east end residence for a disturbance at approx. 1:15 a.m. Information provided was that a male and female were fighting and objects were being thrown in the residence. Officers were initially told everything was fine; however, a male was located hiding in the bedroom closet and on conditions not to be at the residence or communicate with the female. Additionally he was wanted for Breach of Probation. He was arrested without incident and held for a bail hearing today.
