Each year Belleville General Hospital makes a heroic impact on thousands of lives, which is why this year’s theme for the Belleville General Hospital Foundation’s annual gala is Superheroes versus Villains.
The signature event raises a significant amount of money for the hospital to purchase new equipment.
Heather Smith, the Executive Director of the Foundation says this event is the the biggest event of the year.
This year, all funds raised will go towards the purchase of arthroplasty power sets.
Dr. Andrew Pickle calls these sets ‘the tools of human carpentry’ and says they are in need of replacement.
McDougall Insurance and Financial and Williams Hotels are the co-sponsors of this year’s event.
The gala will take place on September 22 at the Avaya Building.
