Firefighters, OPP and EMS paramedics are on the scene of a house fire in Addington Highlands Township, north of the Municipality of Tweed this morning (Wednesday).
Reports indicate a home was fully engulfed in flames at around 4 o’clock this morning at 1570 Flinton Road, not far north of Highway 7.
The residents were reported to have escaped the house safely.
The fire was under control by 5 o’clock this morning.
The Tweed Fire Department provided manpower and tanker support.
