Veridian Connections says the company’s 2017 consolidated net earnings totalled almost $9 million in 2017.
A number of the company’s financial highlights were announced to shareholders at its annual general meeting in Pickering on Tuesday.
Those highlights include a total of just over $8 million in dividends and interest payments to shareholders, who have seen their equity increase $15.1 million or 4% per year, since 2013.
Controllable cost per customer was held to an annual average of 1.02% over the past four years and was $229 in 2017.
The company also has a stable “A” credit rating.
Veridian is one of two hydro suppliers to the City of Belleville, with the city holding a 13% stake in the company.
