The Prince Edward County Fire Department has concluded its investigations into the causes of two recent house fires.
Sunday afternoon, a garage was destroyed and a nearby house was partially damaged by fire on Kleinsteuber Park Road near the Sandbanks.
The fire started in the garage and it’s expected the cause was electrical in nature.
Monday morning, there was heavy damage to a house on Hull Road near Picton.
The fire started in the basement, but the cause is undetermined.
No one was injured in either fire.
