Brighton council has throttled back its plan to allow off-road vehicles on municipal roadways.
Mayor Mark Walas said there were a lot of safety concerns, so council opted to bring the matter to members of the public.
Currently no off-road vehicles are allowed on public roads within the municipality.
Walas says he’s hoping to receive some good recommendations for council to review.
Public comment can be made for the next 30 days, with results likely to be brought forward during the August council meeting.
