One familiar face is filing to retain a seat on Centre Hastings Council, while another will not.
Incumbent Mayor Tom Deline is the only person who has filed nomination papers for the October election, aiming to keep his seat, which he won back in 2014 following a four year absence.
Prior to that break, Deline had served more than 30 years on Centre Hastings Council, before failing to win the job in 2010.
Meanwhile, Quinte News has learned that longtime councillor Shelby Kramp-Neumann will not be running again.
She’s held a council seat for close to 15 years.
The deadline for candidates to file nomination papers is July 27.
