Central Hastings OPP were active on Father’s Day weekend with two separate incidents.
Early Saturday morning, at 1 a.m., Central Hastings OPP were called to a residence in Madoc Township for a report of a driver revving their engine in a rural resident’s driveway. A short time later the driver was located southbound on Highway 62 and was stopped near Bonjour Boulevard in Madoc Township.
Charged is 47-year-old Christopher Ramsey of Stirling-Rawdon with impaired driving, driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in the blood, and failing to comply with recognizance. He received a 90-day Drivers Licence Suspension.
Then on Sunday morning around 2, officers were called to a rural residence in Marmora and Lake Township, where an intoxicated male adult was trying to physically fight with family members.
Twenty-seven-year-old Luke Crawford of Marmora was arrested and charged with Breach of Probation.
Both men will appear in Belleville Court today.
