Northumberland OPP have released the name of the suspect and the charges against him, in connection to a break-in in Brighton Wednesday.
Officers responded to a home in the town’s south end around 9:35, after reports that a man had barged in with a handgun, before running from the scene.
He was located by the emergency response team and placed under arrest.
Dylan Myles Baker of no fixed address is charged with resisting a peace officer, escaping lawful custody, obstructing a peace officer, two drug trafficking charges and breaching recognizance.
Area schools were put in a hold and secure as a precaution and nobody was injured.
The investigation is continuing.
