A young Quinte West man has succumbed to serious injuries suffered after he was hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle last Friday night.
The collision happened around 9:30 on Old Highway 2, west of Wallbridge-Loyalist Road.
Dead is 18-year-old Cody Alexander Austin Kalbfleisch.
Quinte West OPP closed the highway for several hours for an investigation.
No charges will be laid.
