One person is dead as a result of an early Saturday morning crash in Cramahe Township.
According to Northumberland News, the driver was travelling southbound on Jakobi Road north of County Road 22 in the Castleton area when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree around 2:50 a.m.
The unidentified driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, died on scene, according to Northumberland OPP.
Jakobi Road north of County Road 22 was closed for an investigation. The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit was called in to assist with the investigation.
