Now that the provincial election is over, focus is shifting back to the upcoming municipal vote in the fall, with a handful of new names being entered into various local races.
In Belleville, Carol Feeney has filed papers to run in Belleville Ward, while in Prince Edward County, Tim Fellows will run in Ameliasburgh.
We’ve also seen our first filing for mayor in Stirling-Rawdon this week, as current councillor Dean Graff will aim for the town’s top job.
Jennifer Kerr has also filed to run for Ward 2 councillor in Stirling-Rawdon.
