Parking changes on River Road in Corbyville will be up for discussion at Monday’s Belleville Council meeting.
Richard Courneyea, owner of the River Inn and Signal Brewery, will make a deputation regarding elimination of parking spots in front of his businesses.
A report from the Mayor’s Office to Corporate Finance mentioned safety concerns over parking in front of the businesses, along both sides of the road.
At the May Traffic Safety Committee, Chair Mitch Panciuk asked Brad Stitt of the Belleville Police about any complaints they have received in the area, and Stitt said none so far.
Staff is recommending parking be eliminated on one side in front of Signal, and both sides in front of the River Inn.
Belleville Council meets Monday at 4 p.m. in council chambers.
