For the first time, Dancing with the Stars Quinte has grossed more than $40,000.
At Sans Souci in downtown Belleville Executive Director of Volunteer and Information Quinte Brenda Snyder, along with Events Organizer Tracey Legault-Davis announced the feat in front of this years dancers, judges and volunteers.
Legault-Davis says the event is a labour of love by everyone.
After expenses, the event is still expected to net more than $36,000 for VIQ events.
