OPP are looking for information on an assault to the east of Belleville.
Patrol officers were driving near County Road 1 and Curl Road in Stone Mills late last night, when they were waved down by a man on the side of the road, pointing them to another man injured in a ditch.
Investigators say the victim had been walking along the road when he was approached by two men who assaulted him.
Both suspects are described as white men, about 5’10” and no vehicle was seen.
Anyone with information on the assault can contact OPP or Crimestoppers.
Police say the victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
