A Brighton man is facing weapons charges after an incident early yesterday morning.
Northumberland OPP say they were called to a disturbance involving a couple and another man, around 12:30 yesterday morning and ended up arresting the 57-year-old after a brief investigation.
He’s charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, spousal assault and uttering death threats and was held for a bail hearing today.
His name is being withheld to protect the victims.
