An officer with the Belleville Police Service has been honoured for his work in the field of mental health.
Constable Mark Hall was one of several people presented with the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Community Champion Award last week.
Hall’s work has included participation in the Community Situation Table and the CMHA says Hall has “provided hope, support and assistance to people on their journey to mental health wellness”.
The CMHA is recognizing Hall’s efforts in improving mental health and community integration and supporting recovery from mental illness with community partnerships.
