A 29-year-old Belleville man is facing multiple sexual assault charges following the execution of a search warrant say police.
Shortly after noon on Friday, members of the Belleville Police Service Criminal Investigation Unit, along with the Forensic Identification Unit and Tech Crimes Unit, searched a home in the west end of the city.
Police charged one man with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of sexual interference involving a person under 16 years of age.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing today.
