Quinte West OPP are reaching out to the public for tips on an assault in the city earlier this week.
Investigators say the victim was walking southbound on Sidney Street near Hamilton Road, around 5 p.m. Monday, when he was approached by a man who knocked him to the ground and hit him.
OPP have not released a description of the suspect but are hoping someone who noticed the incident might have more information.
