A group of teenage boys has been arrested in connection with a February armed robbery in Belleville.
City police began their investigation on February 24 after two men used weapons to rob Dale’s Place Convenience Store, on South Park Street and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The two suspects and a third who was waiting outside, had last been seen running over the Moira River pedestrian bridge, before getting into a vehicle in a Station Street parking lot and driving away.
In late April, police received an anonymous public tip which led to the identification of all three suspect, who are aged 15, 16 and 17.
Their identities are protected under the youth criminal justice act and all three have court dates in June.
