The month of April was a little harsher than is usual in the Quinte region.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken from CFB Trenton it was colder and
wetter than normal in our area last month.
The average high temperature was just 8.3 degrees celsius and the average low was minus 1.2 degrees.
Over the years, the average high in April is 12 degrees and the average low plus 1.2 degrees.
Meanwhile, the Quinte region received total precipitation of 167 mm in April.
Usually, we receive around 77 mm in total.
Last month, 120 mm of rain fell, along with 46 cm of snow.
