Healthcare advocacy group OurTMH is continuing to lobby Quinte West Council for support in bringing a dialysis clinic to the city.
OurTMH says Quinte West is one of the only larger cities within the Southeast LIHN to not have a clinic and it’s costing dialisys patients valuable time and money.
OurTMH’s Betty Clost says the group campaigned for resident support at the recent home show and their efforts were well received.
There’s no timeline on a decision from the Ontario Renal Network on whether or not a dialysis clinic would come to town, but OurTMH is asking anyone who wants to back the campaign to get in touch.
