Hastings County has still not made any decisions on a number of hospital-related funding requests.
Warden Rodney Cooney says the request for $75,000 for renovations to the Corner Cafe at Bancroft Hospital, made by the North Hastings District Hospital Auxilliary, came “after the budget was approved.”
He says the $60,000 requested by the Kingston Hospital was put into reserves and no decision has been made yet on it.
Meanwhile, the county has received a request for a $3 million commitment over five years, from Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
This is to help fund equipment needs for the three Quinte Healthcare Corporation hospitals within Hastings County.
Cooney says that will probably be considered in 2019.
