A Kitchener man is facing multiple charges following a driving complaint on the weekend.
Northumberland OPP say they responded to an erratic driver complaint on Sunday afternoon around 4:30.
It was reported the male driver was weaving in and out of traffic and at one point, pointing a handgun at another vehicle.
The vehicle was stopped near Port Hope as part of a high risk traffic stop by Port Hope Police and Whitby OPP.
Both the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
Officers says they did find a handgun style pellet gun in the vehicle.
The 33-year-old female passenger was released while police charged 25-year-old Troy Blacker-Roach with pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, careless driving and driving while under suspension.
He was released and will appear in court in Cobourg on June 6.
