Quinte West OPP had an active early Thursday morning, arresting a pair of Picton residents.
Around 4:30 a.m., officers observed a suspicious vehicle at the Market Square Parking Lot in Trenton.
Officers attended the scene and found a man and woman in the vehicle. Subsequent investigation found them to be in possession of a quantity of crystal meth.
Thirty-four-year old Sari Durette and 33-year old Aaron Hill, both of Picton, were charged with possession of a schedule I substance.
Hill was also charged with two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.
Durette was released on a Promise to Appear and will be in Belleville Court on June 11 while Hill was held in custody and is to appear in Belleville Court today.
