The Trenton Downtown Business Improvement Association wants to spice things up a bit during the summer tourist season.
DBIA Executive Director Lisa Kuypers-Schroedter asked the city’s Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee to support a plan to bring in more vendors every Wednesday evening through the summer.
The vendors would be located along the Trent River behind the TD Bank.
Existing businesses in the downtown would get the first chance on the spaces available. Outside vendors would be welcome as long they aren’t selling the same merchandise offered by existing businesses.
The committee approved the idea.
