A 32-year-old man will serve 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to a number of charges, related to the use of counterfeit American money, in Belleville.
Belleville Police started their investigation in January and arrested Joshua Parks, of no fixed address, in late February.
He pleaded guilty this past Monday to charges of theft, assault, uttering threats and possession of counterfeit currency.
Along with the jail time, he’s been handed 12 months probation, a five year weapons ban and is subject to a DNA order.
All other charges against him in the case were withdrawn.
