One man has died after he was struck by a car on the 401 early Friday morning in Kingston.
Around 1 a.m., Frontenac OPP were called to the westbound 401, west of Gardiners Road.
A car slammed into the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the incident.
The Technical Collision Investigators continue to be on scene.
Westbound traffic was detoured until around 9:30 a.m.
Any witnesses in the area are asked to call Frontenac OPP or Crimestoppers.
