It’s that time of year again to be “freezin’ for a reason”.
The YMCA’s Polar Dip is a couple of weeks away, where brave souls will jump into the frigid waters of the Bay of Quinte in Belleville, raising money for the Strong Kid’s Campaign.
The Y’s David Allen says it’s all about helping out kids and families in need.
Allen says people will be jumping into the water at the Belleville Rowing Club, on April 21 and he’ll lead by example, and be jumping in himself.
If you want to get involved, you can drop by the YMCA in Belleville or Quinte West and pick up a pledge sheet, or show up the day of to sign up and make a donation.
