Beginning this summer, new child and family centres will begin operating across Hastings County.
Last year the province announced $1.4 million to support the implementation of the EarlyON Child and Family Centres in the county.
Beginning July first, three lead organizations will provide those services.
The service providers will be required to integrate services with community partners and address the diverse needs of children, parents and guardians.
North Hastings Children’s Services will provide increased mobile services to outlying areas.
Family Space Quinte will service Belleville, South East and Central Hastings, and parts of Quinte West.
Trenton Military Family Resource Centre will be an EarlyON Centre located in Quinte West, which will include francophone services for military and civilian families both at CFB Trenton and off base, including the French Catholic and Public School Boards.
