Alert residents led to the arrests of two people on drug and weapons charges in Quinte West Sunday.
Quinte West OPP responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint shortly after 3 in the morning.
Police seized marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an aerosol mace weapon.
Police charged 26-year-old Shelby Cain with drug possession, possession of a dangerous weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Twenty-five-year-old Kevin Scurry faces similar charges along with breach of probation offenses.
Both are from Trenton and appear for a bail hearing Monday.
