Tweed and Belleville firefighters are out on the waters of Stoco Lake at this hour (11 a.m.).
Some people became stranded in a disabled boat near an island on the lake after 10 Saturday morning.
They were in the boat and safe.
Firefighters in rescue boats have towed the boat to shore.
Meanwhile, there was little rest for firefighters in Marmora and Lake.
They are on the scene of a wood shed fire near a house on Silver Maple Lane, which is east of Cordova Road north of the town of Marmora. The call came in shortly before 11 Saturday morning.
Late Friday afternoon, an abandoned mobile home burned to the ground on Crofts Road. There were no injuries.
