The finishing touches are being put on a refreshed and expanded Quinte Arts Council Gallery and Gift Shop.
Staff and artists welcome the public to downtown Belleville for the grand re-opening of the gallery this Thursday, April 12.
Renovations have made the gallery much larger and able to display more of the work of local artists who are members of the Council.
Executive Director of the Quinte Arts Council Carol Feeney says the re-opening show will include watercolours, oil paintings, photography,
embroidery, jewellery, stain and fused glass, soaps, candles, books by local authors, and recordings by local musicians.
The Quinte Arts Council Gallery and Gift Shop grand re-opening celebration will run from 4 until 7 Thursday and music will be provided by
Adam Gibson. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Light refreshments will be available.
The gallery is located on Bridge Street East, near Dinkel’s Restaurant and from now on will be open every Saturday from 10 until 4.
