Some unpleasant weather is heading our way.
Environment Canada has issued special weather statements for our region.
The agency expects a Colorado Low to bring 20 to 30 cm of rain to areas along and south of the Highway 7 corridor starting Tuesday and continuing through Wednesday.
The rain will cause swollen creeks and flooding in low lying areas.
Meanwhile, to the north in the Bancroft region, snow and freezing rain are expected. Fifteen to 20 cm of snow could fall in the Muskokas and in Algonquin Park.
