Fire Chief Scott Manlow has issued a total burn ban throughout the County of Prince Edward in response to dry conditions.
A total burn ban prohibits all outdoor burning, including brushfire, campfires, and burn barrels.
When conditions improve, the ban will be updated.
The County dealt with two separate grass fires on Monday.
The first was reported at 74 Talbot Street.
Crews were also called to a grass fire at 1800 County Road 15.
