A house was gutted by fire early Monday morning near the Massassauga Point Conservation Area in Prince Edward County.
Firefighters from halls, 5, 8, 9 and 6 responded to 429 Sunrise Drive on the shores of the Bay of Quinte to find the raised bungalow fully engulfed in flames.
The residents escaped safely and nearby homes were not damaged.
Fire crews were called out at 12:40 this morning.
A damage estimate isn’t known at this time and an investigation into the cause is underway.
