UPDATE: 6 CATS RESCUED. DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT $200,000
A garage was destroyed and a house was heavily damaged north of Highway 7 in Marmora and Lake early Friday night.
Marmora and Lake firefighters were called to a fully engulfed garage fire at 1917 Deloro Road at around 6:30 p.m.
The fire spread to a house. All of the home’s occupants got out safely.
Madoc Township and Centre Hastings fire departments provided tanker support.
The fire was under control within an hour. Further detail not available.
