The Moira Trojans have improved to 2 and 0 at the Ontario High School Girls ‘AA’ Hockey Championship in Timmins.
The Trojans beat Lambton Central 6-3 this afternoon, qualifying to the quarter finals with the victory.
Alexa Hoskin netted her fourth and fifth goals of the tournament, while Sydney Ward, Brooke Fairs, Sophie Simard and Chloe Spelmer also scored.
Moira finishes the round robin at 8:00 tomorrow morning, against top-seeded L’Escale of Rockland and will play in the quarter final at 3:00 or 5:00 tomorrow afternoon.
The semi-finals and finals will be played on Friday.
