Fresh off his first 3 point game in the American Hockey League, centre Filip Chlapik has been recalled to the Ottawa Senators from Belleville. Chlapik scored 2 goals and an assist in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Utica. He leads the B-Sens in scoring with 10 goals and 20 assists.
Chlapik had 2 assists in 10 games with Ottawa earlier this season.
Meanwhile centre Jim O’Brien has been returned to the Belleville Senators. O’Brien was Belleville’s leading scorer with 28 points when he was called up by Ottawa where he had 1 assist in 9 games.
