Council in Prince Edward County will decide today who is going to become acting mayor.
This will allow council to move forward while Mayor Robert Quaiff takes a leave from his duties to campaign for the upcoming provincial election.
Quaiff will begin his leave of absence on May 1st.
Council will vote on their decision at the March 27th council meeting.
