A big comeback in enemy territory for the Belleville Senators Saturday night.
Five straight goals, including two from Jack Rodewald, boosted the B-Sens to a 5-3 victory over the Laval Rocket.
Belleville fell behind 3-0 after one, but managed to fight their way back with a pair of goals in the second period and three more in the third.
Rodewald says the team gained some confidence following the first goal early in period two.
Forward Daniel Ciampini, who scored the winner for Belleville, says the attitude of the group remained positive.
Eric Selleck (with his first as a Senator) and Max Reinhart added the other Belleville goal.
Goaltender Marcus Hogberg’s 21 saves were good enough to earn the win in net.
The B-Sens are off for almost a week before they welcome in the Toronto Marlies to Yardmen Arena for the fifth time this season. Game time 7:05 p.m, CJBQ broadcast time is 6:50 p.m.
