A man wanted by Kingston police and Quinte West OPP, but arrested in Belleville early last month has been sentenced.
Thirty-eight-year-old Ryan Millar of no fixed address was sentenced to two years in jail and handed a three year driving prohibition in a Belleville courtroom late last week.
He had pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, assaulting police and resisting arrest. Charges involving breach of probation and failing to comply with an undertaking were withdrawn. The charges had been laid by police in Kingston and Quinte West.
Belleville police arrested Millar after stopping a vehicle he was driving on February 7.
