A 94-year-old woman has been hit by a car in Trenton Wednesday afternoon.
Quinte West Fire and local paramedics were called to the intersection of Maclellan and King Streets, just before 4 p.m.
Fire Chief John Whelan says the woman was conscious but suffered injuries to her head and was taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital.
He says the driver of the car stayed at the scene but any charges, if they’re laid, would be announced by Quinte West OPP.
