Belleville’s Templeman-Menninga Aquatics Centre at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre played host to the Central Ontario High School Swimming Championships last week.
Bayside Secondary School finished first overall, followed by I.E. Weldon Secondary in Lindsay with Nicholson Catholic College third.
Nicholson’s Rafik Jiwa finished first in 3 events. Nicholson teammates Peyton Mullowney and Jeremy Moher had two – first place finishes. Other double gold medalists include Justin Rose and MakKenzie Latter of Bayside. Jack Halloran of St. Paul and Nate Shiers of St. Theresa.
