It was by the slimmest of margins, but we have a new high temperature record for a February 21st in the Quinte region.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, the mercury climbed to 11.8 degrees celsius yesterday.
That temperature was just slightly higher than the previous record of 11.7 degrees, set 65 years ago in 1953.
