The Municipality of Brighton will formally say goodbye to its fire department’s leader tomorrow.
Mayor of Brighton Mark Walas will recognize Fire Chief Lloyd Hutchinson at tomorrow’s council meeting.
Chief Hutchinson is retiring after many years of service and will be replaced by Deputy Chief Rick Caddick March 1.
Also at Brighton council tomorrow night, an OPP officer will speak on issues surrounding the legalization of marijuana and there will be an update from the Quinte Economic Development Commission.
Brighton council will meet at 6:30 tomorrow (Tuesday) in council chambers.
