Quick response from the Belleville and Mohawk fire departments saved an older residential building from major damage Sunday morning.
Around 9:25 a.m., crews were called to the building at 4379 Old Highway 2, between Grass Boulevard and Point Anne Road to tend to the blaze.

Water did damage parts of the apartment.
The cause of the blaze was determined to be electrical in nature and not suspicious.
