Why is @stevenpage practicing his "rock" faces? Because his Canadian super-group @TCHighwaymen will be performing LIVE as part of our stop in @BellevilleON.

The City of Belleville and the entire Quinte region is going to see the national spotlight in just over a week. The Friendly City was selected as one of 24 cities for a broadcast of Rogers Hometown Hockey.
Next Saturday and Sunday (24th/25th) will be filled with events throughout the downtown.
It begins on Saturday at 12 p.m., with the majority of events and activities across from city hall in the Rogers Site. The Belleville Armouries will have activities as well, including a warming station, food trucks and parking across the road in the former Hotel Quinte lot. Free shuttle buses will also run downtown from the Quinte Mall (outside the former Sears store).
The Rogers Hometown Hockey Festival includes the Rogers Fan Hub. There will be interactive experiences, a Zamboni video game, autograph signing with Andrew Raycroft (other NHL Alumni could be named), with free hot chocolate also available.
There is a Hockey Circus Show, the Scotiabank Community Locker Room, the Dodge Family Zone (a chance to win $5,000), the Tim Hortons Ball Hockey Rink, free pizza from Dr. Oetker, the Playmobil Kids Zone, OK Tire Zamboni Pit Stop, live local entertainment and of course the Rogers Hometown Hockey broadcast Sunday night at 7:30 p.m.
The broadcast itself will feature a performance by the Canadian musical group Trans Canada Highwaymen (Steven Page former lead singer for the Barenaked Ladies) Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness), Chris Murphy (Sloan), and Craig Northey (Odds).
The broadcast will be hosted by Tara Sloan and Ron MacLean. Features on the broadcast will include The Subban Family and their time in Belleville, living with billets Amy McMillan and her son John. The other feature titled “My Hometown Must” will look at the newly renovated Yardmen Arena, home of the Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League.
More details are expected to roll out over the coming days.
